HYPNOISE - ST. VALENTINE'S PORNO BAR

Hypnoise's story is a pretty interesting one, a Venetian power trio futuring P. Mike III on Guitars and vocals, Drummer Frez and Bassist Sanze. The band debuted in 1999 with a pretty unique album titled OPIUM, starting a useful collaboration with L.A. based producer and musician Ronan Chris Murphy who also worked with King Crimson and Robert Fripp. By the way, a special guest on OPIUM was mr. Trey Gunn.

Almost six years have passed and now the band releases a new product, with the enigmatic and lecherous title, "St. Valentine's Porno Bar".

Anybody expecting a progressive sound will also find psychedelic influences, blues and surprising gospel choirs thanks to Cheryl Porter and the International Gospel Messengers.

To record the album the band used an 8 track reel to reel tape machine and only analog equipment to bring to you the essential and purest sound of Rock.

And one must to talk about the black and white cover album, explained with these words by the band:

"To create the cover scenes the band placed classic furniture in an historic square of Venice to create a living St. Valentine's Porno Bar, a magical place in a magical town that you can also hear captured in the album."
