Analog Sounds in the streets of Venice

Venice, Fish Market, Campo della bragora and an amazing suite. These are the places choosen for the video "Love in the Bathroom" the return of the band Hypnoise. This trio, futuring Enrico Frisone on drums, Alberto Sanseverino on bass and Andrea Michelon Prosdocimi on guitars and vocals, has been protagonist right on yesterday between the streets and squares of Venice for the footage of the single taken from the "St. Valentine's Porno Bar" album. A video directed by Umberto Rinaldi of Voci Dentro Films starring Maria Novella Papafava dei Carraresi, and Michele Gervasuti as Art Director.

The album is an irresistible experience in the warmth of the analog sound.

It's an alternative - progressive rock concept album that follows the journey of Ceasar looking for a place far from the plastic life and modern stress he has known, finally finding it into an elegant, evoketive and oniric city of Venice.

Hypnoise started to record the album at the end of 2004 with American Producer Ronan Chris Murphy. Really interesting the fact that the album has been recorded using exclusively analog equipment like an old tubed Neumann U47 microphone, tube reel to reel machines, Italian Radios from 1935 to create a unique, warm and "coloured" sound; a reaction to new digital recordings of the modern age.

The recording of "St. Valentine's Porno Bar", (73 minutes of music devided into 14 songs), has no digital contaminations at all.

Campo della Bragora, Rialto's Fish Market and the marvellous Angel's Suite of the Metropole Hotel has been the amazing places choosen for the video and the artwork as well.

Having Mr. Murphy's brand new "Veneto west records" as producer, has been a great satisfaction for the band who presented the album intenationally in the States and in London at Black Club last year.
